Rejuvi Tattoo Removal
Rejuvi works by softening and clinging to the tattoo ink and pushing the ink towards the surface of the skin. It can be thought of as chemical extraction. Rejuvi tattoo removal cream is equally successful at removing all colors. With some tattoo ink removal methods, darker colors may be more difficult to remove than lighter colors but that is not the case with Rejuvi.
How Rejuvi Tattoo Removal is Applied
The Rejuvi tattoo removal cream is injected into the skin with a tattoo machine or similar device. The cream contains alkaline earth metal oxides which then bonds with the tattoo ink. The body then naturally pushes the combination of ink and cream through the surface of skin or dermis. About 2 weeks after the treatment with Rejuvi a crust will appear. This crust like scab will eventually fall off and take the ink with it.
Rejuvi tattoo removal cream consists of cosmetic ingredients such as magnesium oxide, calcium oxide, isopropanol, benzoic acid and deionized water. It has low skin toxicity and is quite antiseptic.
If multiple visits are necessary you will need to wait 2-3 months between treatments. The number of visits depends on various conditions such as depth of the pigment, uniformity of the depth of the pigment, skin type and location.
The recommendation is to treat an area not larger than 15cm due to the discomfort level that follows treatment.
Success with Rejuvi tattoo removal
The success of Rejuvi tattoo removal is also dependent on the skill of the person administering the treatment. Correct training and following correct procedures are critical for success at removing the tattoo. A skilled technician can minimize adverse effects such as hypertrophy and pigment change. The technician should avoid deep and prolonged piercing of the skin to avoid these 2 consequences. Overworking the skin can have adverse effects.
In the year of testing Rejuvi found it to act equally well on all ink pigments. The success rate for cosmetic facial tattoos was 100% and for body tattoos 92%. The scarring rate for facial tattoos was 0% and for body tattoos it was 6%. There were no pigment changes found when treating either body or facial tattoos with Rejuvi tattoo removal.
